Natural vs Weave (103 hits)

Yes, we have had this conversation before. So what is the best option and should we be ashamed of wearing our hair anyway we want to? whipped flipped, dreads, locks, coloroled, multi-colored or whatever we decide that day. Is a sister not a sister just because she wears a weave are goes au naturel?

It is wonderful that we are so versatile and can achieve our beauty anyway we want to. It is the healthiness of our mind, sould and spirit that makes us uniquely us. As long as you are comfortable with who you are and what you do with your appearance, then it is not up to us to judge. i say be healthy in whatever you do. I am a natural woman myself, but I also will flip a weave if that is what I feel like. Your thoughts?

Thanks Ms. Dee,
I do rock it which ever way the feeling hits me. I am now free from rollers, perms, two hours in a salon and I love the water, it does great things for my hair, so let it rain, snow or even a tornado, I'm cool with it. Yes, I feel very good about myself. My next trip is body building. I want to be as healthy as I can so I am trying to eat right and get my body tight Sending Love Back!
