God willing, the Brother Marcus Internet Radio and Television returns this Sunday evening on April 18, 2010 at 8:00 p.m. E.S.T. to continue our series on our magnificent women and girls. We often hear women tell men that they are not real men in this society. Well, if that’s true, we will look at things from the flip side of the coin. What makes a woman a real woman? Are women born or are women made? Who made you into a real woman and who are you making into a real woman? What are some things that every woman should know and master before she can claim to be a real woman? Do real women know how to keep house? Do real women know how to rear their children? Do real women sew anymore? Do real women cook anymore? Do real women generally know how to act at home and abroad? Are these just old fashioned things that today’s modern woman doesn’t need or have to know? Are today’s men expected to pick up the slack? Why are these things still relevant and important to today’s young female population? Is a woman deficient if she can’t do these things? Do women need to prove their womanhood in this society like a man has to constantly prove his manhood?
Does a real woman know how to take care of their husband or male companion? Why does a man need care? What kind of care does a real man need? Are women only used to dealing with artificial, caricature types of men? If women across America lack this specific knowledge does that help to contribute to the overall divorce rate in this country? Does not having this knowledge contribute to the overall unhappiness and depression in woman? Who should women turn to for their ultimate validation? Is it possible that a modern day woman can learn the art of winning her man’s complete love and adoration? Is a woman still validated if she doesn’t have or can’t keep a man in 2010? YOU ASK.....Is a Single Woman still validated as a “Real Woman” if she doesn’t have or can’t keep a man?
I have to say "MOST CERTAINLY" being with or without a man does not validate a woman's worth. There are numerous factors that result in women do "not have a man".. First of all we know the ratio of men:women... Women has also become more career orientented and prefer to establish certain goals and there fore do not seek long term, or committed relationships. I am not going to subscribe to the notions that there are no good black men or they are in prison... Not necessarily so... statistics may even support this. It is my opinion that black men are more comfortable being in casual relationships. Especially with the ration at which it stands.
Now you asked questions, can she cook... Yep does she no how to rear the children: Yep Can she sure... most certainly.. Does she know how to take care of a man... without a doubt does he need to take up the slack..... Now here... My belief if he's the man... Head of the household...Exactly he's going to take care of home... And as his partner I have the responsibility to be the anchor...
Its simple for me... When GOD created man, He GAVE Man a Purpose...simple instructions: Honor GOD his creator 1st and foremost..... GOD gave MAN dominion over the earth..... and when GOD saw that man was lonely... He made Woman as his help mate.... There fore GOD instructed man to be fruitful and multiply... God Gave women instructions... be submissive to your husbands, replenish the earth, and to be an achor for your husband.
So basically I can sum this up with your words...Is a Single Woman still validated as a “Real Woman” if she doesn’t have or can’t keep a man? Yes, because she doesn't have a "Real Man"
