Global Projects C.A.R.E. Mission to Haiti Crisis And Relief Education in Helping Victims of Haiti
“Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.” II Corinthians 1:4
Father God, we the Body of Christ come boldly to the throne of grace, expecting you to hear our cry for your supernatural intervention and answers to the prayers of the righteous, as we travail for our brothers and sisters and all people of the country of Haiti.
We know that in the midst of this calamity, disaster, the aftermath of the earthquake that has devastated a nation, that you are still God, you still rule and reign in righteous judgment as well as miraculously showing you’re caring for the hopeless and hurting.
Lord, we ask for grace, mercy, loving-kindness, strength, power and hope are renewed in the survivors of this horrific happening. We ask for workers and laborers from all walks of the church to make themselves available to minister to the heart, mind, spirit and physical need of the people. Give us a heart to serve lose underserved and underrepresented in the world. Channel our energy and synergy to make a difference through our giving financially, prayerfully and being on the ground giving a glass of water to someone who is thirsty.
Lord let our hearts reach out toward you as you intercede and deliver many who are displaced and forlorn. Place in our mouths the words to say to bring reassurance that even in the midst of this, God has not forgotten the people nor has he given up on the restoration of the brokenhearted, nor has he forsaken those who are experiencing loss of loved ones. Allow the presence and power of the Almighty Jehovah to give them a rest in the midst of the turmoil. Give them a hand to hold as they walk through the storms. Grant you a grace which passes all human understanding that will give you a song in the lions den, a light in the darkened cell of life and bondage and love in the midst of what seems to be loveless and thankless.
Open the minds of the people to receive the gospel of Jesus Christ, The Anointed One. Permit their hearts to long for a home in him that will anchor their lives and stabilize their understanding and wisdom. (“Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.” Colossians 3:2 “In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.” Colossians 2:3)
Fulfill their hunger to have someone in their lives whose love is unconditional and whose grace and mercy endures forever. Show us the Body of Christ how to be instruments in your hand to help the people of Haiti for we long to be used by you as we work diligently to comfort those who need comfort.
We pray the peace of God rule in their hearts, and that above all we put on love as our garment to demonstrate the Agape love of Jesus to those who so need it. Let us not forget Haiti but stand and pray the perfect will of God be manifested among the people, relief workers, government officials and all who come to the aid of the nation.
We ask in Jesus Name, Amen!
