Loneliness is one of the most painful experiences we can have in life, and as believers we are not exempt from it. For many people who are happily married and enjoy time with their families, this is not a problem that they face every day. But for those who are alone and desiring a spouse, watching couples walking hand in hand and enjoying each other can make the pain unbearable.
And so this word is to those of you who are facing this loneliness and the awful pain that goes with it. Daph and I want to say to you that we have been where you are, and we know what it is like. Our hearts go out to you and our prayer for you is that the Lord will grant you the desires of your heart and fill that aching need by providing you, not only with a partner, but the very best!
So common is this need in the Body of Christ, that Daphne has devoted a special chapter in her book to helping you pray for that perfect partner. In it we also share our own story of how the Lord brought us together. We would like you to apply the principles that are shared, and we would like to stand in agreement with you on this. Take some promises you can stand on and continue to stand on the Word and confess that you have received your spouse in your life. Persevere in this and do not give up even if you cannot see him manifesting on the horizon. Remember, the angels are arranging the circumstances to bring him across your path and it may take some time for him to appear, depending on the nature of your request...
