Negative Words: Have you become a victim of negative words? (127 hits)

Negative Words from Others
Apart from family generational curses, you will often come under attack from the negative words of others that can contaminate you and cause problems in your life. Isaiah 54:17 is a Scripture I stand on daily. It says:
No weapon that is formed against you shall prosper; and every tongue [that] shall rise against you in judgment you shall condemn.
There is a very significant link there between words of judgment and weapons formed against you. Ask the Lord for wisdom if things start to go wrong in your ministry, or if you are suddenly irritated and feeling like you are carrying a heavy load around with you in your personal life. You may find it difficult to get the victory in spite of standing against the enemy and breaking family links. If this is the case then ask the Lord to show you any obvious negative words from others. The negative words could be coming from family as well, but often they can be from other sources.
Sometimes it may take a prophetic revelation in order to find out what is going on, but you can stand on the Scripture in James which says, "If any man lack wisdom, let him ask of God who gives liberally to all men without reproach." You do not need to be prophetic to receive wisdom. Often as you begin to talk about what is happening the Lord will suddenly bring back to your mind a letter that someone has perhaps written to you that has nasty undertones or something. You suddenly see it clearly.
"Hey, that's it! She's anti me. I remember her saying in the letter..." and the Lord will show you what is going on.
The Lord may remind you of someone you spoke to on the phone who referred to someone else and there was the hint of bitterness or negativeness against you. There are no hard and fast rules with regard to this though. Each situation is different, but if you have asked the Lord for wisdom and asked in faith, you will receive the wisdom to know who has stood against you and whether it is just you personally or your whole family that has been the target of it. Often irritation and strife are one of the first signs of a problem.
When the Lord has shown you what is happening, all you need to do is submit to Him and then send those negative words back, and refuse to accept what was spoken. Shake off the contamination and command every spirit of theft, strife, destruction and fear that was launched against you to be removed. Now you can pick yourself up and go on once again!
Words should be used to build us up, not tear us down. Thanks for your comments to this blog Rev House-Bey!!
