Stolen waters are sweet and bread eaten in secret is pleasant., Proverbs 9:17...what we do on the low...when those we don't want to know...aren't present. Failing to realize God is omnipresent! Taking note of our every indiscretion...forced to teach us valuable life lessons. Because what's done in the dark always comes to the light...no secret ever stays permanently out of sight. No matter how clever or bright...we think we are...God is smarter by far...especially in matters of the heart.
I remember when getting served, bread and water, was thought to be a punishment...that most considered unpleasant. Who won't prefer the main course of seafood or pheasant...and desert, decorated like a present. At the Kings table for two...delicacies are presented to you. When you obediently...do...wait for the relationship, you...so desire to have.
The sweetest love...like Anita Baker, spoke of...comes from The Lord above. For no woman or man can rob God...yes, they may sample the sweets...but never divinely eat...or drink. But those who are wiser...won't settle for appetizers...when a seven course meal awaits.
Amen! I remember praying and fasting for a mate. As I waited for the manisfestation of the man to appear, tere were many others who came knocking but I thank God that I waited for what he had prepared for me though I must admit it wasn't easy.
