Here's to You Siebra: Saints Beat Colts in Super Bowl, 31-17 (222 hits)
MIAMI – The New Orleans Saints turned the Super Bowl's postgame celebration into something out of the French Quarter.
From the trophy podium on the field, Drew Brees blew kisses and caught confetti raining down as Dr. John and Professor Longhair blared from the stadium speakers. Sean Payton hung over the railing clapping and shouting down to the crowd as if he were rolling on a Mardi Gras float, then waved a newspaper with the banner headline "WORLD CHAMPS."
Who are the champions? The New Orleans Saints, dat's who.
That was CLASSIC!!!!!

Any time you have a championship game in any sport with lead changes and momentum switches and one team dominates then the other team recovers and dominates themselves--with gutsy strategy and smart plays (the successful two point covnersion--I don't know how that receiver managed to reach with the ball over the goal line while keeping in bounds and holding on long enough to survive an official challenge.) and records set and underdogs stepping up and the whole thing comes down to the last few minutes--well, that is a classic ball game.
I just heard on the news that Super Bowl 44 was the single most watched TV event in history!!!!
Man, you people in Nawlinz sure know how to throw a party!!!
