Long, long ago, God created everything. In just six days He created the sky, the water, and the land. He also made all of the trees, plants, animals and flowers. Then, God took the dust from the ground and created a man. He called this man Adam. God put Adam in a beautiful garden that He had made, the Garden of Eden. While Adam slept, God took one of his ribs and made a woman. God gave the woman to Adam, and Adam named her Eve. God was very pleased with everything He had made. And on the seventh day, He rested.
