When God anoints a prophet as in the case of Moses and Prophet Mohammed, they had a specific task to accomplish as was also in the case of Jesus, even though Jesus greatly disappointed God.
However, each prophet is at the least made more intelligent than his or her own people are as well as the adversary is.
For instance, early on Jesus showed his wisdom over his own people by the way he defused the attempted stoning of Mary Magdalene, when he asked the crowd he who is without sin cast the first stone.
Please tell me what your specific task is and who is God’s chosen people?
Thanks sister for your blog and I pray that you continue with the purpose and calling that God has given to you regardless. Perhaps your pastor has issues with women speaking into his life perhaps from doctrinal teachings that women aren't to speak in the church unless they are raising money for the pastor. It happens alot sister. I've done past blog posts: [s*xism In Christianity: Do Women Have the Right To Preach? --- http://blackwomenconnect.com/cgi-bin/blog.... & Christianity: Women In the Pulpit -- http://blackwomenconnect.com/cgi-bin/blog.... ] about the chauvinistic and s*xiest male personalities in Christianity.
At any rate it isn't your problem, but keep your pastor in your prayers and never allow offense to keep you from doing what God has called you to do (although I know you know this already), because it can lead to unforgiveness which leads to bitterness and hatred which will keep you from allowing God to use your gift to speak to His people.
