Just Do It! Racing around getting errands done as swiftly as I could knowing that I must use my time, gas and money wisely I ran into an old friend/pastor/music student and we stopped for a quick minute to catch up on the happenings in each of our lives. He was surprised to hear that I'm a widow and I was surprised to see he was doing sales. I gave him one of my business cards as we were about to depart and he took a quick glance at the card and said,"we need to do our will". I said, yes and the most important of all is the living will I think. He said, yeah? I said, your wife need to know how to speak for you. You may be able to see her but, you might not be able to speak with her. She need to be equipped. She need to know your wishes so she can be your voice.
I went on to share that, if I had not been equipped with my husbands wishes I would not have know how to stand in for him and even then it was not the easiest thing to do, but it was comforting to know that I was doing his will.
