Take care! Be on guard against all kinds of greed. For one's life does not consist in the abundance of possessions, Luke 12:15...but God's Provision of your Needs...there are those who store up treasures for themselves but are not rich toward God, in faith or deeds. Not focused on what they give to others but what they will receive...take or get, always calculating the split. Beat you for the tab and not even offer to leave the tip! Got a tight fisted grip...on all that is theirs...oblivious of the fact that we were born joint heirs...to God's Fortune. If only we would share the wealth there would be no misfortune. Eternal treasures should be first and foremost...regardless of what we experienced here on earth. Because no amount of money can buy your way into Heaven first. But even worse is money loving stinginess...generosity in reverse.
Giving is truly the antidote for greed, but one has to open his/her clenched hand 1st to be cured. I've always been a giver so much so that sometimes it's hard for me to receive, but God isn't finished with me just yet. (((Big Smile)))
