Do you know any Caregivers? Are these people a special breed or something? Could you put your life on hold and be a Caregiver while your siblings, family & friends admire you but don't really see the need to assist you?
Have you met that person who is rushing through the store to get her shopping done while watching her watch? Have you seen that person who is always on the go to somewhere it seems all the time in a hurry to get it done? Have you seen that person who always answers the phone, & doorbell no matter what time it is?
Do you know this person who takes their loved one to the bathroom and services them as if they were their infant child, knowing that it is an adult, spouse, parent etc?
Have you seen that person who once never missed a day from work and is now missing more and more each month? Have you seen that person who is always with a family member and does not ever seem to be alone or with their peers? Have you seen that person that is always bringing someone else to the doctor but, doesn't seem to get their check-up too often? Have you seen that person who is always shopping for the house or someone else?
Maybe it's you, your mother, your Auntie, the neighbor, sister grasshopper at church, etc. Have you ever asked them, "don't you ever stop?" "How do you do it?" Don't you have any help?" "Do you ever sleep?" "Don't you have siblings?" and on and on. Well, if you have not met a Caregiver chances are you will.
Do you know any Widows? Have you met that person shopping alone in the store who might be looking a little out of sorts? How about that person who is shopping alone and can't seem to decide what to buy, as if they were wanting to ask someone else their opinion?
Wait a minute, she is making final preparations and she is short a grand or two? Maybe it's the family down the street who owned their home when you moved in and is now posting a for sale sign because expenses have been suddenly cut in half? Well, if you have not met a Widow chances are you will.
