CHILD PREDATORS HAVE STEPPED UP THEIR GAME! (123 hits)
REMEMBER WHEN? Remember a number of months ago; I dispatched an article describing how these 'animals' think? Here is an extract of that composition below. Review it. After giving it the once over - I have a profoundly important message for you.
Eagles and lions are classed as predators, because they exist by preying on other living things. Some human beings fall within this culpable paradigm inasmuch as they too, similar to an eagle or a lion, victimize, plunder, and destroy another for his or her own gratification. Why are preys unable to resist attack? The victim is defenseless, in the face of an assault, since the predator has tracked the victim’s pattern, studied and deduced the victim's movement, and subsequently knows the best course of action to take in order to annihilate the victim for his or her own gain. From this interpretation, therefore, it is easy to view child predators more no different than animals. Child predators engage in the art of piratical hostility and marauding as well, and just like a lion or an eagle, they too capture their prey. However, in the case of child predators, they target defenseless children as a means of fueling their sick and repulsive desires.
TODAY'S MESSAGE:
YOUR CHILDREN ARE NOT SAFE! Check up on them several times to see if they made it to where you expect them to be. For God's sake, DO NOT ASSUME that your children (no matter their ages) are not being watched! Am I shouting? Yes, I am. Am I shouting because I am angry? No, I’m not. I'm shouting because I am worried, upset, perturbed, and distraught and distressed, to say the least. I am shouting to motivate you to act. I am shouting because since my last article beautiful, sweet, little Shaniyah Davis has been raped, slaughtered, and thrown away like rubbish by a child predator. I am shouting because since my last review, little Sumer Thompson was murdered, minutes away from her home, on her way from school, with her family and friends walking alongside her. Many other children have been taken since my last journal entry. I will not sit and do nothing. I've got to act. Will you pleaseeeeeeeee help me? What is my aim? To have your children and my children return home to you every single night. Don’t feel powerless, be proactive. Vigilance! Vigilance will win this war and save our kids. Adopt the same attitude as the mother hen, who ferociously protects her chicks at all cost. Vigilance! I love you and thanks for caring!
Thanks for the blog sister Shay and you are so right-- we have to be vigilant at all times when it comes to our children's safety.

I'd like to add that I can relate, but you left out the wolves. They're predators of the worse kind. Your children are not "too old" to be checked on. When my daughters all went away to college, I called them every day, several times a day. Not because I'm over-protective, but because I know how dangerous it is and that the predators on college campuses are wolves in sheep's clothing. I wanted them to always be aware and to pick their "friends" carefully. My middle daughter met her rapist at bible study. I've been blogging about personal safety and awareness to Black women and my sister, you may feel like you're screaming into deaf ears but what you're really doing is planting the seed. Tha't all it takes. One person will read this post and it will hit a nerve. To SOMEBODY it will make a DIFFERENCE. Remember the Atlanta child murders when we all felt like nobody gave a damn about our Black children and their safety? WE ALL WAS SCREAMING THEN! What happened? Our voices fell silent. There's still the disparity in the media; when a White child goes missing there's a national media blitz but when a Black child goes missing, it's not newsworthy. You're lucky to hear about it at all. So, yes, sister, I think we should all be vigilant, not just for our own children but for our neighbor's child as well. Like back in the day when our neighbors kept an eye on us. It takes an entire village to raise a child AND keep them safe. Peace.

I love you for your comment! It makes me sick to my stomach when I think of what these beasts do to our children. I remember when I was able to play outside all day and well into the night before I would come in, bathe and go to bed. It is horrible now that our children do the same thing. We can't take our eyes of our children for one second; not even to go to the bathroom in our local foodstore. If I can help bring awareness to one parent and help save the life of one child, then my life would not be in vain. God Bless You, Sister!
