Intellectual Pursuit...The Importance of Critical Thinking (124 hits)
As co-founder of a leadership think tank, I find myself wondering if we as women leaders understanding how significant and vital our mental state is to the success of our businesses, families, relationships and community partnerships.
Are we at all pursuing our God-given purpose by reading, meditating and giving critical thought and dialogue to who we are and what we are called to do?
It is clear that those of us who are in leadership cannot be devoid of vision. We have to spend the time and make the sacrifices to develop and set ideas that will elevate others and sustain their ability to reach deeper and dream dreams for a better future.
Because leadership is about inspiring people, don't you see the benefit of critical thinking in order to find meaning to life, connect with your inner self, invest in people by greatly cultivate discussions that will generate "new hope, new beginnings and new directions."
I challenge all of us in the next 30 days to do some critical thinking and ask yourself: *What I do is it what I am called to do? *Am I fulfilling my destiny? *Am I a resource of blessing for others? *Am I growing or have I remained unchallenged through stubborness, rebellion or indifference?
Look at yourself in the mirror and be more confident you are on the right road to your destiny. Have be sure you have not hijacked another's dream because it was easier, quicker or more glamorous. Our lives have purpose, you are not a fad or trend, you have a job to do and the expectation is that you will fulfill it and change the course of life for many others. Be a conduit for creative and positive change!
I hope you will do some soul searching and close the year out with a focusedtargeted plan that focuses on who you are and will help you strive to achieve your indwelling passion.
