God willing, this Sunday evening Brother Marcus celebrates his birthday as we get into another relevant topic around the role that religion plays in Male / Female Relationships in our community. How important is religion to your marriage or relationship? Do some spouses / partners act the total fool towards their mates and other family members once they find 'ligion? Do we really want folks to accept our religious beliefs and understanding just to make us happy? Can you live in the same house where both people profess the same thing and still not be a family? Does the way that some Pastors and Religious teachers preach create disunity and discord in the home? Is your husband / wife really a demon and have you now, really become a saint? What is really the best way to model our new found faith to our loved ones after we have lived so riotously all those years before? What are some skills that will attract your spouse / partner and not push them away?
Why have we become so self-righteous! Is conversion our own vanity? Why have we become so intolerant of anyone who sees things differently than we do? Must our spouses / partners be in the same religion as we are and sit in the same church, mosque or synagogue with us in order for them to be right in our eyes? Isn’t the God that created the heavens, the earth and the universe bigger than our small, myopic, limited view and understanding of Him? Whatever happened to the righteous principles that undergird all of the religions?

brother, I think you're misleading the issue. How can two walk together save they agree? I do not believe that a couple HAS to be of the same faith to be together BUT it does make for a more unitied more peaceful relationship because of them both agreeing in faith. ALL spiritial leaders have a great potential to be misleading and manipulative to get people to see their agenda and join the cause and its WRONG!!!! I believe know the Bible for YOURSELF instead of man 'teaching' it to you is essential. I NEVER take a mans/womans word for anything cuz we are all prone to error. Prayer is the key to understanding all things because you are asking the Father to show the way and thats better than anything man/woman could ever tell you.
