Very interesting podcast and I really appreciate the history the panelist brought about this history of pressing hair to make it straight dating back some hundreds of years before White people came to subharian Africa.
Although I don't wear weaves or wigs, I do use relaxers to straighten my hair. I stopped going to salons years ago when I couldn't find a stylist who could get me in and out in an hour and 15 minites. I can't stand to be in a salon all dang day on a Fri/Sat. That's for the birds. For the sisters who do the hair weaves/wigs... do your THANG!!

Thanks for checking out the podcast. My opinion is still pretty much all over the place. I just say what every a person does they need to own it. I did find an interesting ad in an old Jet Magazine non the less (2001) that says "If you think in terms of good hair and bad hair. The problem isn’t on your head." http://bit.ly/nLOmV sums it up for me
