ME-Message - Friends...how many of us have them? (84 hits)
It is very hard to find those who will be really faithful, people who will stick with you or your cause when they find out you or it is not perfect. The Good Book says, "A friend loves at all times, and born as is a brother, for adversity" Proverbs 17:17. In other words, a true friend is one who will stick with you through thick and thin, in good and bad, lack or plenty, perfect or not.
One of the saddest things in society today is that people do not have that kind of loyalty and commitment to each other. Not aware of how much they have and will miss out on, when they fail to be faithful to others or the good works they commit to. Even sadder is how many of them will never even realize what blessings they will miss out on, by bailing out before the manifestation of God's Glory in and through His beloved and His plan(projects, dreams and aspirations).
The Bible is full of God's faithful friends, such as Moses, who was so faithful that even when his sister and brother spoke badly about him, he continued to love them and stay faithful to his faithless relatives. Thou their support often changed according to Moses circumstances, he remained the same, just as God never changes and stays the same.
During those times when it seems, you are the only one being nice, apologizing, taking the higher ground and or turning the other cheek, keep doing it! Hold fast and be determined to stay loyal to your friendship with God and keep bearing the fruit of faithfulness, in the mist of the faithless.
Friends...how many of us really have them?, Mommy Dearest "If we are faithless (do not believe and are untrue to Him, He remains true (faithful to His word and His righteous character) for He can not deny Himself." 2 Timothy 2:134
..."If we are faithless (do not believe and are untrue to Him, He remains true (faithful to His word and His righteous character) for He can not deny Himself"...
God is a faithful friend to me and He's never let me down and for that, I'm so very thankful.
