2 in 1 Shampoo/Conditioner: Is it really worth using? (66 hits)

By Sheldon Alexander

There's many people that may have their views on using a 2 in 1 shampoo/conditioner, and those who have actually tried them before. On this website (http://www.gossipcheck.com/beauty-skincare/6327-2-1-shampoo-conditioner-combo.html), people give their views on using them. Though a 2 in 1 shampoo/conditioner isn't always harmful for your hair, it isn't the most effective way to make your hair look its best.

Many people still prefer to use their shampoo and conditioner separately. If you have thick hair, or have dry hair that tangles frequently, then it's best to use them separate instead of using a 2 in 1. Shampoo is made to cleanse your hair of the dirt, oils, and grease that you may put in your hair. It isn't as effective at cleansing your hair when combined with a conditioner, and the conditioner can't fully moisturize your hair when combined with a shampoo. That said, you can only receive the full benefits by using these products (shampoo and conditioner) separately.

I know this because I myself tried using a 2 in 1 shampoo conditioner from Head and Shoulders, and it did nothing for me. My hair was still a bit dry and so was my scalp, mainly because of the synthetic ingredients the product contained. One of my cousins had said she tried a 2 in 1 also, with minimal results. She said she ended up having to use a separate conditioner in order to condition her hair effectively.

Some people may say that they can save money by just purchasing a 2 in 1 shampoo/conditioner, but in reality it may cost more in the long run. If you are looking for the best looking and healthy hair, you'll probably end up running through that bottle of 2 in 1 quicker than you would with the shampoo and conditioner separate. So for those wondering if they should go for a 2 in 1, I recommend sticking with the shampoo and conditioner separate.
