Psalms 37:23&24(AMP) reads, “The steps of a good man are directed and established by the Lord when he delights in his way (and He busies himself with his every step). Though he falls, he shall not be utterly cast down, for the Lord grasps his hand in support and upholds him”.
Now if that don’t make you want to SHOUT, then you have your focus on the wrong thing.
It is so wonderful to know that every step I take and every move I make God is directing, orchestrating, maneuvering, guiding, and piloting. HE’S GOT YOU!
Now let’s go back to the 23rd verse, because God said the steps of a good man, not perfect, BUT good man are directed and established by HIM. We get caught up in trying to be this perfect person and masking behind a religious image and we miss what God is saying. NO, we are not perfect, only Jesus Christ and the Father are.
WE MAKE MISTAKES, HOWEVER God already knows that. And who better knows us than the one who created you and I. So stop putting so much pressure on yourself to be PERFECT. He just wants you to love him and follow his commands and instructions with a sincere heart. And in Philippians 4:13(AMP), “I have strength for all thing in Christ Who empowers me(I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into ME; I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency).”
WOW!!! You mean that with Jesus’ Holy Spirit on the inside of me, through HIM I can overcome ANYTHING. NOTHING IS TOO HARD FOR ME, IN CHRIST. Because I am not relying on my own strength, BUT the strength of Christ the one who LIVES ON THE INSIDE OF ME!!
OH MY GOD!! HE'S GOT YOU! And Psalm 37, verse 24 states that even when we do fall, he is there to grasp us with his hand of love and mercy and support us and uphold us!! When someone supports us or has our back; that gives us confidence!! I’m glad to know that not just TODAY, BUT EVERYDAY, God has me in his care. LOVING ME, SUPPORTING ME, DIRECTING ME, and HEARING ME. Yes he does hear you!
Walk in confidence and with no fear for your future, BECAUSE “HE’S GOT YOU”
