The influence of laziness and sloth in our Marriages and other Relationships (2774 hits)
The Brother Marcus Internet Radio Show continues this week with a substantial discussion on the influence of sloth and laziness in our marriages and every other relationship we have. Sloth is another one of the seven deadly sins. Sloth is defined as spiritual apathy and not doing anything towards furthering your spiritual life. Sloth is also an aversion to work, activity or exertion. On our show, we will examine, how much of a stronghold laziness has gained in our marriages. Do we have enough energy to perform routine household chores anymore? How much do spouses and children suffer because of slothfulness? Is laziness preventing us from participating in the lives of our family and friends? When was the last time we went on vacation or just got away for a few days? Where is the majority of our energy going every day and who is the recipient of our productivity? Have we really become lazier or are we just plain tired? Has the overwhelming struggle for day to day survival depressed us into this mindset? Does our Creator get any use or service out of us at all for His cause? Is God putting on us more than we have the ability to bear in 2009?
