Authors, Business Owners, Working Together (143 hits)

A sistah contacted me recently asking me to help promote her book. I am always happy to help if I can.

I suggested she write an article relating to the book for my More Black Success free ebooks. http://www.black-success.com/articleswante...

She did not want to make the effort to submit an article, she just wanted me to tell people about her book.

The question I wanted to ask her was, "Are you telling people about my books?"

We are all in this together, sistas. We need to work together, to support one another. Check out my article, The Key to Financial Prosperity.

If you are a new author, you may not realize how hard you are going to have to work to get your book out there. If it's your first book, you might be thinking, "Phew! I'm finished at last! Now I can relax ". Sorry, it's not like that.

I am willing to help if I can. But I cannot do it for you.

You need to believe in yourself enough to keep going. Keep writing articles. Keep blogging. Keep doing what you can to build your reputation. I've got lots more suggestions in my ebook Five Free Ways to Promote Your Black-Owned Business. It's not free, but I am keeping the price really low.

There will also be opportunities for you to advertize your book in my Black Holiday Gifts Guide soon.

If you know of opportunities, places where I can promote my books, please let me know.

My books are already on Amazon. Not my ebooks, though.
