Am I Doing Something Wrong? (101 hits)

I ask myself this question all the time. I did a lot of changing with everything, I felt I needed to do that in order to stay sane and not give up on myself.

I've been in business for alomost three years and I must at one point things were great and I was making money. But before the economy became bad, I notice that some of the customers the a friend of mine brought in had left and I notice people wanted a handout. Now I guess she took the customers she gave me away or bad mouthed me because I stop giving her free stuff. It was taking away from my inventory and money out of my pocket and I just couldn't continue doing it.

I also had to stop giving out free samples period, so I came up with an idea to add a sample box to my website and fill it with 1oz products for a value of $10. I think thats resaonable and a great way to try all the products at once.

Im at a point I feel like giving up but I wont allow myself to do so.

I feel as if Im networking and advertising in the wrong places and with the wrong people. I don't have a supportive family except for my kids & husband.

So what I do now to get my products and name out there is, I donate a few products to women shelters, I joined a few sample box companies and that seems to work for now.

I can't fight and cry about why my business is not constantly booming, all I can do is put it in gods hands and let him handle it.
