Don't lower your expectations to meet your performance. Raise your level of performance to meet your expectations. Expect the best of yourself, and then do what is necessary to make it a reality.
This can be used as motivation for a lot of people. Dream big. Make a plan and work the plan. This simple idea of setting goals alude people. Maybe it because they don't want to think about the things they want and would rather fly by the seat of their pants. What do you think?
