Artificial Insemination 1 Peter 1:23 “Your new life is not like your old life. Your old birth came from mortal sperm; your new birth comes from God's living Word. Just think: a life conceived by God himself!” (Message Bible)
On Resurrection Sunday, I had the privilege of hearing a sermon titled “Sunday Morning Revolution”. In the Bishop’s opening statement he stated, “Fruit must be congruent with the seed it came from”. As he continued to expound, he raised the question, What should Sunday morning do in me? And he replied, “Sunday morning should provide change for me because the resurrection of Christ was the most revolutionary day in history.” Why? Because death was conquered, all power was in his hand and the commission to change the world was now in place. Therefore, “if Christ birthed it, we should look and act like what is seeded in us because anything else is artificial insemination.” According to the dictionary, artificial insemination is a fertilization procedure in which sperm is injected into the uterus and oviduct of a woman by other than natural means. This procedure is used when a woman has difficulty becoming pregnant. As Believers we have difficulty becoming pregnant with the word of God. So we are artificially inseminated with religion, legalism, entertainment, materialism traditions, personalities, titles, positions and gifts. When we’re artificially inseminated we lack the naturalness of Christ and become imitators. We have a form of godliness and deny the power of thereof. There is an authenticity that is produced when you receive the seed of Christ for real. In 1 Peter 1:23, the bible says, “Your new life is not like your old life. Your old birth came from mortal sperm; your new birth comes from God's living Word. Just think: a life conceived by God himself! (Message Bible)”. As Believers of Christ, we have to know without a shadow of doubt that Jesus Christ seed is growing inside us. We have to know that his seed is not corruptible but incorruptible and every seed is produced after its own kind. The man of God was onto something when he stated, “Fruit must be congruent with the seed it comes from”. In other words, if I believe the seed of Christ is me and there is no evidence I encountered him something is wrong. There is no way I can plant sweet potatoes and get string beans. Like it is in the natural, so it is in the spirit, I can’t believe by faith that Jesus lives in me and nothing about me changes. A husband can’t say he love's his wife and demonstrate acts of hatred against her and vice versa. It’s a scary thing to join the revolution of Christ and never change”. Its easy to attend church Sunday after Sunday and not recognize the revolution Jesus Christ desires to birth in us. However, its another thing to attend church Sunday after Sunday and be artificially inseminated.
Wow deep...I like..Never thought of it this way but I will say this....I am sure God would rather want them in church seeking for him and looking for him then to not be in church becoming artfically insemenated...As long as people are in God they are going the right track, it is not for us to judge if a person is changing or not because as believers we believe the word of God and God tells us that In us he will do a great work. No matter if someone else sees it or not. As long as God is working its a good thing.....
