ARE YOU HAPPY WITH THE CHOICES YOU MADE IN LIFE? (115 hits)
Everyone i know call me Babyface, and how ironic that seems to me because although i'm 42 years old i look like a baby but feel much older. I guess it's because i've been through so much in my 42 years of being here that makes me wonder if i have made the right choices up to now? I wasn't raised with a silver spoon in my mouth. My father left my mother when i was 8 years old and i've never seen or heard from him since? When i was 18 years old i had my first born daughter taken away from me and up until now i have never seen her, but i will see her soon. Did i make the right choice?
When i was 21 years old i got married and throughout 19 years of devoted love and marriage i had three wonderful children 1 boy and 2 girls and now going through a divorce. Did i make the right choice? In 2003 after all these years, i've realized the potential for my entrepreneurial spirit and became a disciple for Jesus Christ. Did i make the right choice?
In my marriage i've loved, i've bled, and i've fought for what i believed was right and made sure all of my kids where protected. Did i make the right choice? Even when there was violence in my home, and drugs and unlawfulness creeped in like a thieft in the night Did i make the right choice?
...And even when the bills where backed up, and the landlord came knocking on my door and i didn't know where the money was coming from...but still stayed loyal. But Did i make the right choice?
You see...When you put so much into making your life a blessing for your kids, and even when your relationship breaks down and goes down hill, and even when no one in your family really cares...the one thing i do know that makes me happy is the CHOICE I'VE MADE TO PUT JESUS CHRIST IN MY LIFE!
Are you HAPPY with the choices you made in your life? Tell me what you think?
For the most part I tend to make good choices. There are times when I do not make good choices intentionally, just because I wanted something right then and there. But I am learning to be patient and continue to trust God. I know it is easier said than done. I still struggle with that. We can only make choices off what we have been presented with or what we know. I was planning to get married this year but he decided to change his mind without notifying me first. Did I make the right choice picking him? Based off how he presented himself to me for years, I would say yes. But for what ever reason he changed out of the blue and there was nothing I could do about that. It was not my time or he was not the man for me. I am ready for change in my career. I work a job where I do not feel like I am being challenged. Did I make the right choice in choosing this job? Yes I did I have learned a lot and I am ready to learn more. Our choices determine our future, daily outlook, our drive and our achievements of our goals. Did I make the right choice?
