ARE YOU HAPPY WITH THE CHOICES YOU MADE IN LIFE? (163 hits)
Everyone i know call me Babyface, and how ironic that seems to me because although i'm 42 years old i look like a baby but feel much older. I guess it's because i've been through so much in my 42 years of being here that makes me wonder if i have made the right choices up to now? I wasn't raised with a silver spoon in my mouth. My father left my mother when i was 8 years old and i've never seen or heard from him since? When i was 18 years old i had my first born daughter taken away from me and up until now i have never seen her, but i will see her soon. Did i make the right choice?
When i was 21 years old i got married and throughout 19 years of devoted love and marriage i had three wonderful children 1 boy and 2 girls and now going through a divorce. Did i make the right choice? In 2003 after all these years, i've realized the potential for my entrepreneurial spirit and became a disciple for Jesus Christ. Did i make the right choice?
In my marriage i've loved, i've bled, and i've fought for what i believed was right and made sure all of my kids where protected. Did i make the right choice? Even when there was violence in my home, and drugs and unlawfulness creeped in like a thieft in the night Did i make the right choice?
...And even when the bills where backed up, and the landlord came knocking on my door and i didn't know where the money was coming from...but still stayed loyal. But Did i make the right choice?
You see...When you put so much into making your life a blessing for your kids, and even when your relationship breaks down and goes down hill, and even when no one in your family really cares...the one thing i do know that makes me happy is the CHOICE I'VE MADE TO PUT JESUS CHRIST IN MY LIFE!
Are you HAPPY with the choices you made in your life? Tell me what you think?
Thank you for thhis blog beloved. "Am I happy wth the choices Ihave made?" That is a very good question, and up until the last one-I wasn't quite sure I liked the response in my head.:) I haven't always made the right choices, but for the most part; my heart has always been in the right place. My choice to make God the head of my life has been the greatest choice I've ever made. My desire is to not only claim him as the head of my life. But to live each day reflecting that choice. I too am a writer and I have moved out completely on faith with a play that I have written to pay tribute to Dr. Nina Simone. God willing it will take place June 6, 2009 at 14th St. Playhouse. You can see updates on my website at www.OzaraOde.com. Faith without works is dead. I am striving to show that my faith is alive and kicking daily! May I ask if you know of any up and coming publicists in the Atlanta area? Thank you in advance for your time and consideration. Be blessed an continued success in all of your endeavors.

Because we have free-will and get to take thought in our steps, whether good or bad, we must realize that we have been PLANTED. Did you make the right choice or choices ? Not always, but you're still here aren't you ? You have survived and through God's "GRACE", you've weather the storms of life. You are still here to fulfill your destiny and must try to accomplish what God had planned for you. The key is for you to try and remember what it was ,so you can collect the data that was to help you in your journey. How do you know the data ? ? It's how it makes you FEEL ! When I speak of remembering, I mean ,it was already in you ,...the glorious love you were to share with others while during your life on earth. Before you were born you knew all of this, including what role you would play in the ream of God's glorious plan. And it was your "WILL" that made you want to be born. You also knew there was evil in this world, opposition, and times you were to face it alone. So you, at times developed fear and learned what everyone else was doing, including the evil, because you learned "EGO". Through words like: I, me, mine. Therefore, you started to forget. Ego told you , you could go it alone, even without God. In time ,God shined light on your path anyway, regardless of your choices so that you could gain focus and consciousness. God did carry you ! If you remember fully or not ,while you are living, doesn't matter. Just know that you have been planted and expect to live. Upon your death bed..., YOU WILL REMEMBER IT ALL ! Including that someone told you these things. We are all children of God !
