Is one woman enough for a man? (1207 hits)

This Sunday Join Brother Marcus for another explosive episode on April 12, 2009 at 8:00 p.m. E.S.T. on his hit Internet Radio Show!

“There are many sisters in the community that have lost all hope and faith that a tall, dark, and handsome husband will ever find them and let alone, marry them. Hell, it don’t even seem like brother man is looking at all! We all know the horrible condition that many black men are in. Have we reached a point, particularly in the black community where we are going to have to seriously consider polygamy? Why was this used in the past? Is this already going on in our community? Is this something that our young people – particularly our young females will be faced with in the future? Aren’t we already sharing our men knowingly or unknowingly with someone else anyway? Would you share your husband or your man with the rest of the community? Why or why not? Is a woman being selfish if she won’t share her man with another sister that just wants and needs to be loved? Was Shirley Murdock right about you when she sang that you would never understand? What’s your opinion on sharing? As always, we are seeking feedback before this Sunday’s show from you by typing your comment below or you can call our Toll Free Number at (800) 871-9012 and enter 24778# to share your comment. Please share your first name and what city you are calling from before you leave your comment.

Many women love Jesus but have not been able to find his presence in men today. When a woman meets a real man she will be looking at God!

Brother Marcus!
This just falls into what the Bible has talked about. What WE think, we do, regardless of what God has to say about it. First we had to accept the alternative life style some are forcing on us and now we have to have a discussion on poligamy. Will it ever get back to what was set fourth by our Creator. How much more are we going to subject ourselves to before we realize that OUR WAY is not the best way. GOD has set the rules and no amount of justifying will make our way better than that.

Well this is a discussion group! Certainly I am married to one wife and I have all of my children with her. I wish that all of us "holy and sanctified" people would exercise some real power against all of this evil in our homes, commuiites, country and the world and make the teachings that we read about in the Bible real in this Satanic world. I love the Lord. He heard my cry.. And polygamy is all through the Scriptures of the Bible for us to look at and deal with so what rules are you talking about? I am absolutely sure that there are many Christian men and women whoring around out here as well as well as every other religion. Our way will never be the best way, but who is going to challenge the way the masses of the people think in order to even introduce Christ's ways to the people?

Brother Marcus!
My aren't we full of ourselves Tracye? Nuf said? Join us in prayer....Lord please help us to be humble and sidestep the foolish ones among us. Some of us believe that we have the only way to look at things and that is so unfortunate. Some of us are so arrogant we don't want to discuss or want anyone else to discuss anything that we allready have formed an opinion about at best. Especially when we mistakenly believe that our way is the right way. I caution us all. The devil told God that he was going to deceive the whole world. The question then becomes, are we deceived? Whether you or I like it or lump it that this is going on in our community, this country and in this world under many different names. As I read the Scriptures of the Bible, Abraham was quite happy with Sarah but he was commanded by God to take Hagar as a wife but yet He is still considered the friend of God. The Old Testament is the basis of the New Testament and even our own, beloved Jesus is recorded in Scripture as saying that he didn't come to change the law but to fulfill it. We just can't pick which parts we want to deal with. The Bible is filled with all kinds of things that disturb our souls if we are honest. Let me offer this for the readers to consider as well. The Bible is called a Book of Prophecy and the men and women of God are called Prophets. Remember that prophets don't come to talk about a time that they necessarily lived in and through... but maybe God allowed those things to be in the Bible so we that would read them in this day and in this time would understand today's times better. Too many of us look at the Bible as a book for yesterday and don't find any relevance for it today. I encourage all to listen to the show that was taped last evening for informational purposes. We have a lot of growing and maturing to do as a people. Stop thinking you know it all!

Wow, I just woke up from a wonderful sleep! I hope your feeling well today! The Show was very interesting and informative and those who desire to hear it on archive can simply go to www.blogtalkradio.com/brothermarcusshow. Sister, just because we read the Scriptures doesn't mean that we understand them. To me, that is why the Scriptures teach us that blessed is he / she who reads and understands. I wouldn't waste a second in Saudi Arabia on what you spoke of. My work is here in America among my own people. Let them over there deal with that. All of us have to mindful about how we spend our time today. For instance, I could spend the rest of my precious life trying to get one church, one mosque, or one synagogue to reform and see and do things from my perspective. But who really has the time to focus on just one church or just one person? I encourage you to read my statements back to you as well. I re-read yours and I can't fit the shoes that you want me to wear. I hope that you and the other readers of my blog will understand that I am in no way, shape or form promoting polygamy to the people. If you will listen to the show you will hear that. I am a Talk Radio Host. We talk about stuff. I have already been blessed with my boo or my tender roni already and am quite happy with her. This was last week's discussion and Ill see you at the next one. Peace and God bless!
