Who is your Strategist? (247 hits)

I don’t know about you, but sometimes I get a little discouraged by what I feel I don’t have. Whether that be staffing, marketing dollars or web presence, sometimes it feels like an uphill battle…until I remember Gideon.

Gideon was about to fight a massive army. God looked at what he had and said you have got to many people. He started out with 32,000. God said all of those who were scared could go home. 22,000 went back. God looked again and said you still have to many people. Those who lap water like a dog, keep them, everybody else send home. He went from 32,000 fighters to 300 soldiers to fight what must have seemed like the universe. You know the story, HE WON!

When you have God on your side, you have to trust His strategies! Even when it feels like he threw your best shot out the window! When God pared down Gideon’s army...the scared ones, not committed to your victory, just here because you told them to be there... He already had a strategy that would win the battle.

So when my numbers look small and insurmountable, I remind myself that He already has a plan and strategy to win this current battle. He’s looked at my resources and has already formulated a plan for victory!
