I'm sure you have all heard about the dolls that have been named Marvelous Malia and Sweet Sasha, and that Michelle Obama is not pleased. I agree with her. The doll company had no right to use the names of her daughters, and then lie about it and allege that the names had nothing to do with her daughters. I'm sure this is only the beginning of stunts that are going to be pulled, to get under her skin.
Since she is the First Lady, First Mother, and she looks like us...we should be supportive of her. Please do not buy any of the dolls made by this company, and advise all of your fiiends that the Ty Girlz Collection of the Beanie Babies Company has disrespected the "first daughters", and chooses to ignore Michelle Obamas request that they take the dolls off the market.
We have been given an opportunity to show the world that Black Women can stand together and be supportive of each other. An insult to Michelle or her children, is an insult to us ALL! We supported Barack , now let's rally around "the love of his life" for the next eight years. She is out there charting unfamiliar territory and can use our support. She went into the White House through the front door, without a rag on her head, or a broom in her hand. She is not there to entertain anyone....she lives there. Let Beanie Babies, and anyone else who decides to mess with our First Lady, know that Michelle Obama has a sisterhood that has her back.
I agree that we should support her and this is the first of many many stunts. It's going to be a difficult four or eight years for them. There are many working right there under their noses that want them to fail. Many of the news anchors don't give our new president the respect he deserves and they try to call him 'Mr.' instead of 'President'. However, they are both well read and well know what's going on. They will be able to fight the good fight. We can help them by boycotting the stupidity of others when they step out of line, but we can help them even more by staying in constant prayer because where two or more are gathered in HIS name, HE is there in the midst. Prayer is powerful as is the tongue itself. If we unite on one common ground, let's make it that.
Isn't that rude? what the anchors do? the whole world is watching! I have his face on my cell phone and every time I flip it open--I say God Bless you!

It's Very rude, and they think people can't see through it. They have a lot of nerve ! These and other small-time tactics no longer have a place. People with any amount of intelligence can see through it as well. This is our time, they may as well get use to it, and make it fast !

I agree with you that we must back Mrs. Obama. The public should not use their public status as a get rich scheme without their permission. I love how you are so positive to state that their next "eight years"... I just love it. Yes we can/Yes we did!
