Use self-praise as a confidence building device. Instead of allowing your mind to produce negative messages, consciously override these messages with positive praise about what you've done or do well. For instance, say to yourself, "You really handled that crisis well yesterday..." , or "You're really great at...". Your self confidence will bloom more readily in a positive mental climate.
