{": Question? :"}

Does our government really think that by given those different establishments millions of dollars will boost out economy?

My personal opinion is that I do not think so.

Well my thought overall, along with other people

I have talked with about the shape of the economy.

We all agree on one thing.

That is we do not think by our government,

given out millions of dollars, to those different establishments, Will get our economy back on track the way they think it will.

About a couple weeks ago early one morning at work I went outside to have a smoke and there were these two people standing out there.

So they said good morning to me and we began talking and in about 10 minutes of our conversation,

One of the people began talking about the economy and the way people are losing their jobs.

Then the our guy began talking about

how our government has given those

different establishment millions of dollars

All in the name of trying to save jobs.

Anyway, he went on to say he felt that ones those different establishments receive bailout money from our government. That they are going to take the money and run to protect their on investments.

He went on to say, the way he see it, is that he believed A lot of those corporations know that they really do not have a chance of surviving, with the economy being week like it is .

He felt, that a lot of them are just jumping on the gravy train to protect them self financially.

He also said at the time that he felt that our government would never recover that money from those corporations.

He also said, that the CEO of those corporations knows that they can file for bankruptcy and walk away with millions of dollars in their pocket and would not have to ever pay a dime of that money back to our government.

What do you all think?

I do feel the bailouts are given to the wrong people. Corporations do not run the country.....people do. I feel the money should be given to the American people. If the money is used this way, people would be able to pay off homes, cars, education loans....money would be put back into the main stream. Why would you want to waste giving money to big corporations, they are the very ones causing people to lose their investments and retirement funds.

That is exactly what I am talking about.
Maybe our government will wake up and figure out they are bailing out the wrong people. Thank you for the response my friend.
