The Environmental & Sustainability Program Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing environmental compliance programs and sustainability initiatives across IDTs operations. This role drives measurable impact by reducing environmental footprint and ensuring regulatory compliance.
This position reports to the Director of EHS and is part of the broad Environment, Health & Safety Team, and will be an on-site role at any IDT / Aldevron location (Boulder, CO; Fargo, ND; Madison, WI; Raleigh, NC; San Diego, CA).
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Ensures Environmental Performance through the development, implementation, and management of environmental programs across US and international sites.
Drives critical programs such as CAA, RCRA, Stormwater, Wastewater, SPCC, TRI, etc., to reduce risks and company costs.
Exhibits a working knowledge of global chemical substance regulations (REACH, TSCA, RoHS, CA Prop 65, etc.)
Lead sustainability programs by managing GHG reduction and tracking, recycling, and waste reduction initiatives (hazardous, non-hazardous, and recycling).
Assess and improve environmental impact through sites assessments and driving continuous improvement by establishing performance targets, data analysis and reporting.
The essential requirements of the job include
Bachelors degree in environmental science, sustainability, engineering, or other field
Years of experience in sustainability and environmental compliance programs
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and sustainability frameworks
Strong analytical, design and project management skills
Excellent in documentation and communication
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:if applicable for role
Ability to travel as required (up to 15%, including overnight stays)
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Experience with global sustainability initiatives
Familiarity with environmental reporting tools and automation platforms.

The annual salary range for this role is $83,000-$130,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
