The Training Specialist is responsible for developing, delivering, and maintaining training programs for warehouse staff, focusing on inbound, outbound, and supporting Manufacturing processes. This role provides a great opportunity to support, influence, and partner with Logistics leadership in the development of their associates.
This position is part of the Global Logistics Development & Training Team and will be in Lodi, CA and will be an on-site role. This will primarily be a day shift position with flexibility to work the night shift as needed.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Design and implement training for inbound (receiving) and outbound (shipping) processes using the current ERP system (SAP), and train on processes that support Manufacturing processes.
Act as an SME when Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions are being developed for warehouse and stockroom operations.
Conduct onboarding sessions for new hires and refresher training for existing staff.
Manage the Forklift certifications and recertification programs in partnership with external vendors.
Manage the P3 Train-the-Trainer program in partnership with EHS and Logistics Operations
The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelors degree in Workforce Learning & Development, Supply Chain Management, related experience OR 5+ years in warehouse and stockroom training with a focus on inbound/outbound and kanban processes
Knowledge of SAP, computer knowledge, and Microsoft Office Suite applications
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements
Ability to travel up to 30% travel within Cepheid locations
Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 20lbs
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Understanding of warehouse and inventory methodologies, utilizing scanners
Proven experience in facilitating and delivering training programs for employees across all organizational levels
Ability to develop engaging training materials for both classroom and on-the-job settings and understanding of adult learning principles
OSHA Forklift Certification; DOT/IATA compliance training

The salary range for this role is $65,000 - $87,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
