LPN - Long Term Care - Child Center

Description



LPN Long Term Care at Providence Child Center in Portland, Oregon. This posting represents a full-time night shift position. Hours are 7pm-7:30am (3, 12-hour shifts), with rotating weekends and holidays.



Our Long-Term Care unit within the Child Center has a total of 46 beds, serving both pediatric and adult patients. We care for a unique and diverse population of medically fragile individuals, ranging from children with complex developmental and neurological conditions to adults with chronic illnesses and disabilities. Some of our residents require long-term ventilator support, tracheostomy care, and all require some assistance with activities of daily living. Our team is deeply committed to providing compassionate, resident-centered care in a nurturing environment.

Our unit is known for its exceptional continuity of care, with many caregivers having long tenures and deep relationships with our residents and families. Were also proud of our interdisciplinary approach, working closely with respiratory therapy, rehab, and social work to provide holistic care.

Required Qualifications:




  • Graduate of an approved school for practical nurses.


  • Oregon Licensed Practical Nurse upon hire.


  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.


  • 1 year - LPN Experience



Preferred Qualifications:




  • Coursework/Training - IV Therapy course and competency demonstration.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
