HIGHLIGHTS:
SCHEDULE: Full-Time (40 Hour), First Shift (8:00 A.M. - 4:30 P.M.), Monday - Friday
FACILITY: Greater Bridgeport Community Mental Health Center (GBCMHC)
UNIT: Clinical Services Unit

DISCOVER THE OPPPORTUNITY TO:
Provide direct oversight and supervise the employees of this unit, including the Advanced Clinical Social Worker assigned as coordinator;
Lead day-to-day operations to ensure timely and accurate client assessments including assessments of risk, documentation, and triage;
Monitor staffing needs, adjust assignments, and manage workflow to maintain operational efficiency and prevent burnout;
Facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration across departments to support coordinated patient care;
Implement staff training initiatives grounded in trauma-informed care and evidence-based practices;
Ensure compliance with institutional, state, and federal regulations (e.g., CMS, Joint Commission, HIPAA);
Conduct staff evaluations, coach team members, and manage performance issues in alignment with HR standards;
Apply clinical data and patient outcome metrics to inform unit performance, care protocols, and quality improvement initiatives; and
Engage patients and families with sensitivity and professionalism, upholding the institution’s commitment to patient-centered care.
