The Process Owner, Formulated Research Products - Formulations, is responsible for acting as the subject matter expert of the assigned value stream for projects related to equipment, facilities, NPI and global implementation.
This position reports to the Formulated Research Products Value Stream Leader and is part of the Formulated Research Products team located in Coralville, IA and will be an on-site role.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Provide support to production escalations in respect to Safety, Quality, Productivity, Materials, and all other relevant aspects of manufacturing; take ownership of problem solving and follow up on production issues. Troubleshoot and correct problems that may arise throughout the process.
Drive for improvements through DBS tools (PSP, kaizen, DM) to get higher performances in DM metrics and site performances.
You are the SME of the assigned value stream for projects related to equipment, facilities, NPI and global implementation.
You are the gate keeper to ensure production feasibility of these projects.
Drive to root cause in the analysis of Complaint & NCMR in collaboration with Manufacturing Quality Specialist(s) and write (or assist in writing) MOCs and SOPs.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Minimum bachelors degree in biology, (Bio)Chemistry, (engineering) or Biotechnology or any relevant field, OR equivalent by relevant experience of at least 5+ years.
Ability to effectively review analytical reporting, interpret complex data and formulate conclusions.
Ability to develop and sustain productive work relationships with support groups and internal stakeholders.
Possess excellent knowledge of laboratory instrumentation and must have excellent computer skills which may include knowledge of the Microsoft, LIMS system, and SAP.
It would be a plus if you also possess:
Ability to effectively review analytical reporting, interpret complex data and formulate conclusions.
Ability to develop and sustain productive work relationships with support groups and internal stakeholders.
Must have excellent computer skills which include knowledge of the Microsoft, LIMS system.

This job is eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
