The Division of Nephrology is seeking applications for the position of Section Chief at Bellevue Hospital. This leadership role is ideal for a dynamic and experienced nephrologist committed to advancing high-quality, value-based patient care. The Section Chief will:

• Provide strategic clinical leadership within the hospital's Nephrology service
• Serve as the primary liaison between the Nephrology Division and Bellevue Hospital administration
• Drive initiatives aimed at improving patient outcomes, operational efficiency, and interdisciplinary collaboration
• Supervise house staff, medical students, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners
• Lead recruitment, supervision, and evaluation of faculty
• Participate in the leadership of the Division's research and educational activities at Bellevue
• Collaborate with fellow Section Chiefs to oversee, coordinate, and enhance clinical operations

Salary Range: $279,000-$291,000

The salary range listed is for full-time employment and does not include incentive compensation or benefits. Actual salary may not fall within the listed salary range; consideration will be made for experience, training, hospital/community need, and other factors.

Applicants must have an MD (or equivalnet) degree and be board certified/board eligible in Nephrology by the hire date.
