THE ROLE Reporting the Senior Manager, Natural Field Sales, the Regional Sales Leader, West directs and manages a sales team comprised of regional brokers and inside sales to accomplish defined business goals and objectives. Key focus of this role includes setting expectations, managing sales plans, competitive market analysis, managing appropriate use of expense funds while developing and motivating a high performing sales team. ESSENTIAL FUNCTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES Manage and lead a national network of boutique broker partners, ensuring alignment with MegaFood’s strategic priorities across the natural and specialty retail landscape. Develop and implement regional sales strategies and customer plans that drive distribution, velocity, and brand presence at key accounts represented by brokers. Provide clear sales targets, promotional priorities, and performance expectations to broker partners; conduct regular business reviews to track progress and course-correct as needed. Oversee annual and promotional planning with broker-managed accounts, including forecasting, trade spend allocation, and ROI analysis to support profitable growth. Collaborate cross-functionally with Customer Strategy, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to ensure broker execution supports MegaFood's operational and financial objectives. Analyze syndicated and customer-specific data (e.g., SPINS, IRI, and retailer POS) to identify performance trends, gaps, and actionable growth opportunities across broker-managed territories. Stay informed on category trends, competitive activity, and regional retail dynamics; translate insights into recommendations for brokers and internal stakeholders. Represent MegaFood at key customer meetings, broker summits, and industry events, acting as a strong brand steward and strategic partner. Partner with internal finance and demand planning teams to validate broker forecasts, ensure inventory alignment, and support accurate planning cycles. Track and manage regional trade budgets across broker partners; ensure proper promotional execution, deduction resolution, and compliance with internal trade systems. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Proven ability to lead and motivate broker partners, ensuring accountability and performance across multiple regions or channels. Experience with the supplement, wellness, and natural products industry, including retail dynamics specifically in the natural channel. Proficiency in analyzing syndicated data (SPINS, IRI, Nielsen) and customer POS to extract insights, identify trends, and inform decision-making. Strong ability to work across internal departments such as finance, demand planning, marketing, and operations to achieve shared goals. Ability to pivot quickly, navigate ambiguity, and develop creative solutions in a fast-paced, evolving market environment. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities, accounts, and broker relationships across geographies. Working knowledge of trade management systems, CRM platforms, and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field required. 3-5 years of progressive sales experience in the CPG industry, with at least 2 years managing broker networks or regional accounts. Experience working with natural channel retailers (Sprouts, NGVC, INFRA, NCG, co-ops, etc.) and distributors (e.g., UNFI, KeHE) required. Prior experience in the supplement and wellness a must. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals and driving sustained business growth. We look to hire team members who will make an impact. These rewards -- plus our new recognition program -- ensure employees feel supported both at work and home. SALARY RANGE National Target Base Pay Range: $100,000.00 - $166,000.00. The salary range for this position is based on national standards. For candidates in California and New York metro the Target Base Pay Range is $110,000 - $184,000, to reflect the cost of living and market conditions in those areas. Actual compensation will take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location, education, experience, qualifications and job-related skills. It is not typical for an individual to be hired above the midpoint of the range for their role and compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. Base pay is only one component of our total rewards offerings, and we will take the full offering into consideration when presenting an offer of employment.
