Department Overview

Job Description

• Experience using 3D CAD software, Creo is preferred

• 3D printer experience is a plus

• Collaborate in multi-disciplinary design teams and developing design concepts for mechanical components and assemblies

• Setting up and maintaining bills of material

• Support material readiness for prototyping of new products

NOTE: A candidate for full-time employee in our department must be a U.S. citizen with ability to obtain necessary security clearance as required by government contract. As an intern there will not be a need to apply for security clearance, but if an internship is converted to a full-time position, the candidate must obtain the necessary security clearance.

Basic Requirements

• Candidate for this position is a student pursuing a Bachelors or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related degree.

• Candidate must be a U.S. citizen with ability to obtain necessary security clearance as required by government contract. (See note below)

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are important. You will present the status of your progress to other team members and to management.
