Compensation
Director of Development: $100,000-$125,000
Senior Director of Development: $125,000 - $140,000

A day in the life could be:
In collaboration with university partners and foundation colleagues, discuss major donor prospects, strategy, and solicitations. Make qualification calls/visits, and in some cases cultivate, solicit, provide recognition, and steward appropriately major gifts for the College of Business Administration, with an emphasis on gifts of $50,000+. Manage staff, including recruitment, retention, performance management, coaching and development. Utilize KSUF resources to facilitate professional development for the team and grow the talent pipeline.
Requirements
Director: 5+ years of metrics-driven fundraising experience requiring measurable output, with an emphasis on managing a portfolio of donors and closing gifts
Senior Director: 7+ years of metrics-driven fundraising experience requiring measurable output, with an emphasis on managing a portfolio of donors and closing gifts
2+ years (5+ for Senior Director) of leadership experience overseeing individual contributors, with a proven ability to inspire teams and effectively give and receive constructive feedback
Experience calling, conducting face-to-face appointments, managing relationships, creating and presenting proposals, and other fundamental elements of client/donor relationship or sales-related activities
Proven ability to communicate effectively and persuasively with a diverse client base, with an emphasis on engaged listening, and success working in a team setting
A valid motor vehicle operator’s license with an acceptable driving record
