Application Architect (Workday)
Boys Town is seeking a strategic and technically adept Enterprise Solutions Architect/Product Owner with expertise in Workday to lead the design, development and optimization of enterprise-wide HR and Finance systems. You will provide architectural guidance on the selection, integration and automation of tools used throughout the SDLC process. The role bridges business needs and technology solutions, ensuring Workday capabilities are fully leveraged to support organizational needs.
Position is on site in Omaha, NE

Responsibilities
▪️Evaluate and implement tools, technologies, and processes to improve software development.
▪️Establish governance and standards for security, disaster recovery, change management, and code quality.
▪️Lead and mentor development team members to ensure design and implementation meet architectural goals.
▪️Provide technical support and recommend improvements for systems and processes.
▪️Identify opportunities for system enhancements and recommend new technologies.
▪️Design and maintain ERP systems and related database structures to ensure data integrity.
▪️Coordinate with stakeholders to develop ERP strategic roadmaps.
▪️Document processes, audit procedures, and maintain system administration records.
▪️Troubleshoot and escalate system errors and enhancement requests.
▪️Participate in Agile development, including coding, testing, and migration to newer technologies.
▪️Develop dashboards and reports using BI tools (e.g., Workday).
▪️Design and support data warehouse components and ETL processes.
▪️Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and quality standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
Requirements: Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field, 7+ years ERP experience, strong SQL and data warehouse expertise
Skills: ERP systems, Agile development, BI tools, data analytics, leadership
Preferred: Experience with Workday Finance, HCM, Payroll, Prism
