A Brief Overview The Senior Manager of Clinic Operations iwill partner with the Administrative Director/Director to direct the daily operations of multiple clinics, including the management, leadership and supervision of clinical, professional and support staff to deliver quality, cost effective, safe and efficient patient care. This role is accountable, with assistance from clinic managers, for the effective strategic planning, and the personnel, operational, and financial management of multiple assigned clinics, programs and/or projects that cross multiple departments and/or services. In collaboration with the Administrative Director/Director, identifies and pursues new business development opportunities that will expand or grow service lines. The Senior Manager serves as a resource to clinic managers and is a liaison between clinics and other Departments and Service Lines residing in SHC. Key functions of the position include most or all of the following: program planning, design, development, and implementation; program monitoring and evaluation; budget planning and monitoring; and quality and performance improvement to achieve organizational/departmental goals

What you will do
Develop and effectively implement the overall strategic plan, in the areas of responsibility and the service line.
Direct, supervise and coordinate all service line activities which involve either direct or
indirect responsibility for staffing, budgeting, fiscal planning, change management, operational efficiency, provider engagement, financial management, program delivery and organizational goals.
Effectively direct and lead productive complex teams within multiple subspecialties. Plan, organize, lead and direct the clinical care and support services, including programs and goals, that provide the infrastructure for the delivery of quality, compassionate and cost-effective patient care. Plans, organizes, coordinates, and directs all patient care and non-patient care functions within the division to achieve objectives and comply with regulatory requirements.
Engage staff and cultivate a positive culture to empower and engage employees and improve the patient experience.
Strategically plan, problem-solve and use critical thinking skills to anticipate, avert, and resolve issues in staffing, scheduling, role and task allocation.
Responsible for the service line budget, including budget planning, meeting labor and nonlabor targets; optimize resources by using a model of care to ensure fiscal responsibility and quality patient care.
Ensure effective fiscal management of the department and ensures the proper utilization of organization's financial resources. Analyze information, data and other fiscal reports to monitor and enhance productivity and clinical/programmatic outcomes; identify key drivers and lead improvement efforts
Monitor and implement standards and policies which ensure patient and staff safety, uphold best practices, and provide high quality patient care.
Stay abreast of knowledge of current theories, principles, best practices, standards, emerging technologies, techniques and approaches in accountable care and the health care system.
Responsible and accountable for twenty-four (24) hour operation of the assigned ambulatory care service line.
Perform all essential functions of the Clinic Manager.
Develop and implement policies and procedures that guide and support the provision of services and which meet the external regulatory and statutory requirements; ensure that policies and procedures are compatible with the function and goals of the hospital and clinics.
Follow SHS safety and Infection Prevention guidelines, policies and procedures for self, patients, visitors and employees.
Interpret and enforces Infection Prevention and Safety policies.
Responsible for identifying new business develop opportunities
Education Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Master's degree in Nursing preferred.
Experience Qualifications
Seven (7) years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to contribute to health care policy formulation when working in partnership with a multidisciplinary team of health care providers.
Ability to delegate responsibly to others, activities according to ability, level of preparation, the standards of practice and regulatory guidelines.
Ability to direct and develop programs and lead process improvement projects.
Ability to establish and direct the strategic direction and business plans for a functional group.
Ability to analyze, initiate and implement change conducive to the improvement of the quality and safety of patient care delivery.
Ability to direct leadership, influence others to meet patient needs and achieve shared goals, to effectively prioritize system
resources to provide quality and valued patient care, promote cooperative behaviors, act as a role model, resource and mentor.
Ability to direct, supervise, coach, mentor, train, and evaluate work results.
Ability to use information and keep abreast of developments in technology to communicate, manage knowledge, mitigate error, and support decision-making in patient care.
Ability to direct practice according to the laws, rules and regulations; standards and guidelines of certifying and accrediting bodies; hospital and department/unit standards, protocols, policies and procedures governing the provision of nursing care in the area of
assignment.
Knowledge of principles and practices of organization, administration, fiscal and personnel management essential to the practice of nursing in the larger context of health care.
Knowledge of principles, practices and current trends in health care and hospital system organization and administration sufficient to provide clinical management, leadership, coordination, and operational direction for assigned areas of responsibility
Licenses and Certifications
RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure And/Or Compact State Licensure preferred .
BLS - Basic Life Support .

Base Pay Scale: Generally starting at $89.01 - $117.94 per hour
The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training. This pay scale is not a promise of a particular wage.
