Join BAE Systems Countermeasure & Electromagnetic Attack Solutions (CEMA) group in Hudson, New Hampshire where youll contribute to a high-impact program revolutionizing electronic warfare for military aircraft. As a Software Engineer on Compass Call, youll develop advanced electronic attack systems designed to disrupt adversary radar and communication networks. Your work will directly strengthen national defense and give our warfighters the edge in contested environments.
In this role, youll work with modern C++ and C# in secure Linux environments, contributing to the development of real-time mission software and advanced processing frameworks. Youll be part of a highly collaborative team leveraging Agile and DevSecOps practices, with continuous integration pipelines and robust testing environments that ensure quality and reliability.
From requirements definition through system integration and verification, youll engage across the entire software lifecycle. Youll collaborate closely with Systems, Hardware, and Test engineers, solving complex technical challenges and driving innovation in the electromagnetic battlespace.

This is a full-time, onsite role at our Hudson, NH facility, offering the chance to make a lasting impact on one of BAE Systems most strategic defense programs.Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Active Secret clearance
Bachelors degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical field
4+ years of professional software development experience
Proficiency in object-oriented design, development practices, and implementation in C++
Experience developing in Linux environments
Hands-on experience with version control and collaboration tools (Git, Atlassian suite: Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
Experience with automated testing frameworks and continuous integration practices
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Active Top Secret Clearance
CompTIA Security+ Certification
C# development
Knowledge of real-time embedded systems, signal processing, SDRs, or RF communications
Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies
Experience with software verification and validation
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins)
Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $95106 - $161680
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
