My book signing at Azizi Books in Matteson Illinois was the best! I thank you all for coming out and showing your support and just helping a sistah out! Sometimes we need that, you know how it is. I met with so many wonderful people who shared their stories of inspiration. We laughed, we talked, we hugged... I want to thank the young black men who came out in show of support as well! As I looked out at the people waiting to meet/talk with me I was so proud to see our young black brotha's standing there waiting in line. I say to you as I have always said, continue to stand proud and choose the right path. You'll make mistakes along the way, but learn from them and continue to greatness! I cannot express how wonderful it made me feel to see you all standing there. It was a great honor.
I brought along some of my dolls I create from my Kuckabug Collection of Dolls and Azizi Books are now going to carry them in addition to carrying my books! I am so very excited! They are very unique and no two are alike and will never be duplicated! The hair is dread-locked(inspired by my own) and they are hand made. I never learned how to sew y'all but I can work a piece of material and some string!(..hahah) Check out my dolls at Azizi Books and add one to your collection or start one today!
