At least 100 thousand acres have been reported damaged by the Rough Fires in Fresco County in California located in Sierra Nevada. Evacuations of many residents has become mandatory in order to protect lives from the scorching blazes. This recent evacuation was issued lated in the afternoon on September 7, 2015. At that time the fire was onl 31% contained. In onlay a few hours the fires span some 10,000 acres. Along with the elements of wind and drought, the fire is fueled with many attributes to keep the flames surging and making the inferno difficult to hold down. The Rough fire was stated to have started on July 31, 2015 when lightening struck begining the over the month charring of trees and grasslands. So far the cost is exceeding 67 million dollars in damages.
