The Bellandur Lake located in Bangaldore, India has done something most oddly ever seen. The lake set fire to itself. That's because the lake his highly toxic with polluted chemicals and trash. The lake burned with the polluted chemicals and garbage on Friday, May 15, 2015 stunning many residents who watched. According to news media, the fire burned without being ignited by any human causes, other than by mixtures of chemicals that had been released into the lake's water. The fire was a result of oil, industrial waste, sewage and phosphorus made a ready made chemical fire which caused flames to burn. In addition, after the burning a thick white foam covered over the river that resembled snow. The local paper there reported that the natural purification process was no longer available by the Wetlands, because it has been encroached. Since there is not natural purification, it resulted in the polluted lake taking to flames. In addition the lake's froth has caused many living in the areas allergeric reactions from the smell and acidcity of the foam. Recent rains added to the lake's flow and caused much of the pollution of the chemicals to overflow onto the grounds resulting in further hazards of the burning lake. Another fire was burning on May 19, 2015 from the same conditions as Friday's fire.
