Her legacy lives on...I honor and uplift Princess Diana! (1059 hits)
I remember back in 1997 when her death occurred. I was in N.C. getting ready to attend the Aggie-Eagle Football Classic with family and friends. All of the grown ups around me (I was under 21) really were saddened, shocked and disappointed at the horrific loss our world has just experienced. Thanks to T.V. and other media outlets we could get a glimpse of what took place. I was saddened at the way in which we lost our Princess. At the time I was also too young to understand the great impact she had on so many people.
Now that I am older and a young woman, I totally see her as a treasure and can still feel the light that radiates from her kind, giving, loving personality. All I remember of her is seeing all of her charity work and how happy she seemed when she was doing that work. I remember how happy she appeared when with her family. She had a beauty that seemed to start on the inside and shine thru on the outside.
I am inspired by her as a woman to work harder to give of myself and use what I have to help people in a positive way. We are fortunate to have women like her in our history and I honor her and her family on the anniversary of her passing over.
