Busy as you may be in your surroundings of earthly things it is a valuable reward if you can give five minutes to meditation during your daily routines. Five minutes of meditation can be taken throughout your day's journey. Take suggestions of these five ways to meditate and give five.
1. Set your alarm clock: Have your clock wake you five minutes earlier! Before getting out of bed pray in meditation five minutes. Take in a verse at bedside and read and think on the Word.
2. After your shower or bath: There should be at least five minutes to squeeze in a thoughtful meditation to feel God's love surround you, as you have washed your body, meditate on cleasing your Spirit with Godly thoughts.
3. While drinking your morning coffee, or packing a lunch: The importance of meditation food is as near as picking up the Word and reading any selected verse. Make a list of quick reads on the weekends so you can turn to them, or just open the Word and read and meditate in thanks.
4. Dashing to the car, or mode of your transportions: If you are a morning walker, jogger, or your drive or take the bus in those few seconds or moments, keep thinking of the Word you have read and receive a meditation moment to clear your mind. Pray a prayer.
5. During the rest of your day:
You'll have many meditation hours during your whole day to give five minutes. Keep your Word handy. Just as handy to as you keep your cell phones and instead of talking on the phone, talk to your Father in Heaven. You'll have a rewarding reminder He is truly walking with you the rest of your day. At the end of day before bed time and sleep, Give five..
