In Looking Beyond the Obvious, My Horizons are being Extended! Since I first wrote the Blog about Looking Beyond the Obvious, I have come to realize that the exercise has broadened my horizons--it is so expansive until I see no limits to them. Perhaps this is true, because the God I serve and look to has no limitations. Since with God ALL things are possible and nothing shall be impossible with Him, I have been able to spread my wings! When I first wrote the Blog, I actually didn't "feel" differently than I had ever felt, but there was hope in my heart, because the Spirit of the Lord actually whispered those words into my spirit and it caused me to hope. Ever since then, there has been expansion. No standing still. I'm pressing on the upward way, new heights I'm gaining every day. Still praying as I'm onward bound, Lord plant my feet on higher ground! Lord, lift me up, and let me stand by faith on Heaven's tableland--a higher plane than I have found. Lord, plant my feet on higher ground. My heart has no desire to stay where doubts arise and fears dismay. Though some may dwell where these abound, my prayer my aim is higher ground. I want to live above the world, though Satan's darts at me are hurled; for faith has caught a joyful sound, the song of Saints on higher ground. I want to scale the utmost height, and catch a gleam of glory bright; but still I'll pray till Heav'n I've found, Lord, lead me on to higher ground. Lord, lift me up and I shall stand by faith on Heaven's tableland; a higher plane than I have found, Lord, plant my feet on higher ground.
