This book of poetry was written by a classmate and dear friend. He is an African-American educator who writes to advocate to save our planet, resources and all the other precious life on earth. If you want to read some captivating poetry about growing up in the south in the 50s and 60s ... this is a must read. The book consist of 25 poems including scenic photographs of his childhood (Mississippi). I have a couple of his poems if you're interested in reading.
